At first I am overjoyed at this discovery. A TV! Now I can catch up on the latest reality shows and listen to endless hours of political commentary and gay marriage arguments. Everything  has come into alignment. Even the forest looks straighter and more coherent.

But as I should have guessed, the TV doesn't work. There's no power.
